After trying out Rizom there are a few features that would be amazing to bring into maya to speed up UVing.
- While there are too many to name, my favorites would be the selection tool where you hold down shift and between two clicks it picks the optimal edge line with a live preview before clicking. There is a tool somewhat similar in maya however there is no preview, and no highlighting all while being very difficult to select the verts which is not intuitive at all (plus it takes into account existing UV's which it shouldn't.) https://streamable.com/s4s5fg

- It has a rectangularize feature that works incredibly well, there seem to be 1 or 2 plugins in maya that also do this but all of them seem to work the same and give much more distorted results than rizom
