Improve Maya falloff curves

Improve Maya falloff curves

I tend to use Maya falloff curves a lot, It will be great if their is Bezier Curve with handles  so I can use it to have better control over Maya falloff curves.

To also be able to select multiple points and move them together would be great. Maybe even scale the selected points, in the same way as in the Graph Editor.

Adding a bezier curve control can really help setting the falloff efficiently. It's already available in most other DCC applications. The one in Max is pretty good where users can:

1) choose RGB or Mono mode

2) create bezier handle for each control point.

3) select multiple control points to move them simultaneously so the relation between R, G, B curve is kept.

4) has a ramp at the bottom to visually communicate the color and falloff of the curve.

For shading related works, please at least consider add this for remapColor, remapHSV and remapValue nodes.

Maya already has the first item on your list, thankfully. You have to expand the Output section though.

The fourth item on your list would be a huge benefit as well!

Right and as you pointed out, for the 1st item, even with the current implementation we can't adjust control points of multiple curves together. Imagine we have 5 control points in each of R, G, B curve, it would be very difficult to lift up all 15 control points up by 0.1 in one go without the ability to marquee-select all control points of all three curve that co-exist in the same graph like what 3Ds Max current has.

Yeah I know. There is a big need for this update! And none of you suggestions should be that hard to implement.

I've been waiting for Autodesk to implement this little feature for years!
