If I have a controller named controllerA and I want to constrain it to controllerB, then I can use the very useful offsetParentMatrix to do so. The problem is if I then animate controllerB, those animation curves will now show up in the graph editor when I have controllerA selected, which doesn't make much sense.
I have selected ctrl_left_eye_pupil, but it also shows ctrl_pupils and ctrl_head
Realistically, there isn't any reason for why an animator would want to see the animation curves from nodes upstream of the parentOffsetMatrix attribute or any other attribute that is for example hidden or locked.
So far, I've found two work-arounds, but they aren't ideal.
My suggestion is that animation curves connected to nodes upstream of the parentOffsetMatrix attribute or any other attribute that is for example hidden or locked, are hidden by default. Having this controllable with an easy to find checkbox would definitely be a bonus.
