I've groomed my model and figured out several of the strange traps that Xgen sets (such as having to use a Maya shader while grooming), but I can't seem to get the output to match the guides. Both the render and Preview display don't match the grooming I've made, although I do seem to have the ptex maps in the primitive attributes working correctly for length and masking.
Is there something I need to bake or modify to make the hair match the groom? The XGen workflow feels very temperamental and I've had to start over a couple of times because things wouldn't update.
Any help would be appreciated.
