write to a text file from animation

Hi everyone,

I want to ask something. How can I get animation 2d or 3d datas as text file? I made researches on the Internet but I can find anything noteworthy. There are most MEL codes but i doesn't work to. I need some  help

What information are you trying to get to the text file and/or why are you trying to export it to a text file?

I created an animation to use in an Augmented Reality project. I cut the object. So I need its x and y coordinates this front look, you can think as picture (2d) and I want to take these pictures datas .

I don't believe that type of functionality isn't available by default with Maya.

You would need to do some mel/python scripting like in this thread.
