Hi, I experience this problem is a long time ago, during many Maya versions, since Viewport 2 (legacy viewport was ok in this case)
I am using soft/hard polygon view to see instantly the differences (it is also good to see instantly the unwelded verticles)
The first sphere has soft edges, the second one just standard view (or hard edges)
Wireframe on mesh disappear on Soft Edges using Soft Selection
This is quite bad that I dont see the wireframe when I use the soft selection if the edges are soft edges by display settings, but I can see the wireframe during soft selection on hard edges or if there is standard view on the mesh
There is possible to fix this long term bug?
