Weird viewport shading

Hello guys, Im having this viewport shading issue. The mesh looked fine and everything but after I UV'd it and cleaned up history, I get this weird shading problem on the mesh. 

When default material is on, I get this weird x-rayed look to it. Note: X-ray is turned off

But if I turn the default material off, I get this weird red shading and a black mat with green highlights

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue and if you know how to fix it or what has caused this shading weirdnness.

Hi!

 

1. Very likely the normals are reversed.

Use Mesh Display -> Reverse

 

2. There is a material with red color applied or some Vertex colors.

Check with Color Set Editor for Vertex Colors.
