Unable to open or import a recovered file

Hi! I recover a maya .mb file that i lost throug Windows File Recovery, but i can't open or import it for this error:

"Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2024/scripts/others/performFileAction.mel line 64: No translator found."

Someone knows why?

It is generally an .ma file, not an .mb. Check your temp folder

I had exactly the same issue with a .mb file. It was fine and suddently 5h later I open it, the scene is empty and I got the same error message..

You might have saved with history, could be corrupted now.
