the grid is not displayed on the side, front and back views

When changing the view (left, right, front, back), the grid is not displayed, it is visible only in the top and bottom mode. Maybe this is due to some drivers?

I mean that due to the fact that the grid is not displayed, I cannot build a skeleton in these views.

Please tell me how to enable the grid display in all views, and how to add joints in different views (for example, on the right)? Now, when I try to add a joint in this view, nothing just happens. Thanks.

Maybe check the position of those cameras (should be >0 in their respective axis) and the Near and Far Clipping Plane.

Hi! @tarasova_td
Question: Was it operated with ViewCube?
If true: If executed in Perspective View, it will be displayed in Perspective.
If false: I want you to try something.

  • If you're using default shortcuts in Maya 2023, try the Home key.
  • Change Workspace to General. If you don't want to: From the ToolBox select Four View with RMB on any mark above the Outliner.
  • Please share the camera attributes with everyone by clicking the button with the camera and gear symbol in the Panel Tool Bar of the currently active window.
  • Press ALT+P.
  • Select Grid from the Show menu of the Panel Tool Bar of the currently active window to open the menu box and try Reset.

Basically, if you want a flat view, select Four View by pressing RMB on any of the marks above the Outliner from the ToolBox, or if you wish to view only one marker, hold down Space and select the direction you want to view while pressing LMB on the Marking menu.
Rigging is more efficient to run in Four View to get a better idea of what's happening.
I hope this fixes it.
