Numberkey 1,2,3

Hi

I thought pressing number keys 1,2,3 only shows you the PREVIEW (temporary view) of how a mesh will look like once smoothed. But each numberkey applied objects have different rendered image.

Down below, first image is number 1 pressed, and the latter is number 2 pressed

If pressing those number keys only show preview of when its smoothed, why do they look different when they are actually rendered, they should both be showing angulated mesh

Hi!

This preview smoothing can be used by some renderer, so you will get a different result for "1" and "3".

Also Arnold uses by default the preview smoothing level.

You can control this in the Smooth Mesh settings of the shape node.
