Hey there, I’m currently learning a bit of Maya for an upcoming contract and while so far it’s going okay, I have a small question about what’s happening in my outliner.
My Outliner is showing a few components ending on .e[XX] (so edges) within an automatically generated set (set4). The edges are part of the mesh and there’s nothing special about them. If I delete them in the Outliner they’re deleted from the main mesh as well. Everything is connected, nothing is double, Normals are correct etc and the mesh is working fine but I’d like to understand what is happening here.
The history of everything in the scene has been deleted and Maya has been restarted. I would really appreciate a short explanation so I can understand the software better.
