I'm running Maya 2016, and suddenly the GPU Cache Preferences is no longer on the list of prefs in the Preferences window. This was working before, and I have no idea why it disappeared. Mac OS 10.11.6, NVIDIA GTX Titan, 12GB

Hi @chronopsis2

I just did some testing and this actually occurs on Mac and Windows!

The problem is that the GPU Cache plug-in isn't loaded!

To fix this:

1.) Go to Windows->Settings/Preferences->Plug-in Manager

2.)Load the GPU Cache plug-in

3.) After the plug-in is loaded, GPU Cache should appear in your settings tab near the bottom

I hope this solves your issue but if you're still having trouble feel free to let me know and we can troubleshoot further!

Thanks, Sean,

I reset my prefs, which also solved it, but that would have been much easier!
