[MEL] dollyTowardsCenter: how does it work?

Hi!

I want to move my camera 5 units forward with Dolly Towards Center = off, but it moves to center of viewport, not to mouse cursor. My command is:

dolly -d -5 -dtc 0 persp;

 Quote from documentation about -dtc flag:

"This flag controls whether the dolly is performed towards the center of the view (if true), or towards the point where the user clicks (if false). By default, dollyTowardsCenter is on."

What I'm doing wrong?

Hi @Br0ken1334

I don't believe this is possible. The flag is available to disable the towards center option but the MEL alone can't respect mouse location.

What you could do, is set up a hotkey or script that simply disables the dollyTowardsCenter and then just click and move your mouse like normal to dolly forward.
