My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, as opposed to the person in that other thread's whose is a 1060.
I've been trying to fix this for 5 days, to no avail. I don't get it. Maya just has new problems as soon as I fix the ones I was dealing with in the first place. ๐
