How to rotate each component along its own center? maya 2017

Hi @Anonymous

 

If you are looking to just rotate edges/verts you should be able to select them and see the gizmo in the center.

 

However if you're looking for the center of the object you need to go under Modify->Center Pivot

Select and rotate every component individually.

(Maybe make a script for this)

no. I meant the local rotation of each selected component like in 3d max.

Like @mspeer said, you're best bet is to either move them all manually and/or use a script.

Hi

 

That's what transform component is for.  Select edges then click Edit Mesh, Transform and adjust the local rotation.  First click on the outer circle to make the rotation axes visible.
