Hi friends, I need your help, I was working in Maya doing animation, when I was saving my computer got stuck and I had to restart it, So I opened the file again and all my animation was deleted. there is no animation and the characters disappeared. And Maya created another file but I can open in Maya, for example : JuanAnimation15.mba17608, Help me please!!!!! =(

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

 

That file is probably a backup Maya tried to make since your PC crashed.

 

Its possible the files are corrupted but i'd like to take a look at them first. 

When you get a chance, can you please zip and attach the scene file here or via dropbox/google drive or another file sharing program so I can take a look at it? If the file is confidential or under NDA please send it to me in a private message instead of posting it here.

Hi Sean, I hope this message finds you well, sorry for answer until now, but I was busy, I fixed, what I did was erase the numbers of the file ( animation.mba123 for example)  and I opened it in Maya and it worked.
