MAYA 2022 ERROR when using full screen and pressing spacebar on a Mac

Hello, I haven't been able to use Maya 2022 since each time I Enter Full Screen I can't even press Spacebar or use the hotbox because all the screen goes dark grey or black right away.

Here I attached a screen recording of my problem since I can't even explain it well, hope there's a solution to this:

Same problem. Latest Big Sur, Maya 2022.

Are You guys on Intel or M1 macs?

Just curious if this is a general Mac thing or just some M1 incompatibility.

I also had the same problem with macOS Catalina on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013). I still have the same issue even after an update to Big Sur that I have made recently. I am using educational licence.

Could you please help on how we can resolve the issue? Please let me know if any solution exists.

Thank you

Just recently I noticed that on Windows, too, full screen mode + Hotbox does some weird stuff. Not as bad as on macOS, but noticeable.

Is there an ETA for a bugfix? I do care about macOS a lot more than Windows, but if both are affected You'd get even more karma for fixing it 😉

@nelsoncruz any news on the topic? A bugfix release would be much appreciated.

Surely the same problem. Got separated white screen with the general maya hotbox while after "spaced". But. When i switch in-between screens like from "dead maya" to desktop or something and then back to maya, i get usual maya screen. This is a trick to return to ur work immediately in such a situation. So, what i recommend now is not to use hitting space key anyhow for god's sake. hope yall got me.

I thought i was the only man who got this bug. Hope it'll get fixed soon.

By the way, I wonder: how do i use regular alt + mid mouse button with mac trackpad or something?

If u got a solution, please reply. Best regards.

I hope someone is working on this. Still the same problem in full screen. It changes to the next screen... I use an older Maya version, and is still waiting.

Strange that no one can make this work.

This was fixed in the last update of Maya 2022 for Mac. If You install the update, the issue should go away. Unless You have a reason to keep the older version.

Well. This is not true for me.

I have the latest version for mac. The problem is a little different. But spacebar in full screen, makes the screen shift to the non-full screen to the side.

So no, it does not work.

I will test os upgrade.
