Maya 2020 crashing on start up

Hi,

I've been trying to get maya 2020.3 running on my new laptop but it just closes right after opening.

Maya 2023 works fine however I need 2020 for a metahuman project I can't use 2023 as it doesn't support metahuman yet.

I have attached the Maya CLM to the post.

Specs for Laptop
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12800H 2.40 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)

Graphics card RTX 3070ti
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I have tried the following:

uninstall and reinstall serval times, deleting preferences, signing out of my Autodesk account deleting %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Web Services\LoginState.xml file and uninstalling and reinstalling  AdSSO.exe.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Ben

A shot in the dark but you could try using the certified graphics driver for Maya 2020?

Thanks for your response,

I had to have a call with Autodesk but we figured out the issue. It was animbot causing maya 2020 to crash.

Cheers

can you share any details on what exactly was wrong, and how you fixed it?

Hey,

I just had to uninstall the version of animbot I was using then maya worked. I think there's been an update to animbot so it's not an issue anymore.

Sorry I can't go into anymore detail but it was over a year ago.
