Maya 2017 Student version: White Screens in every view

I've had this problem for a while, and I ignored it, until I was having to use UV editor.
I'm having to texture a model for class by Monday, and I'm having a hard time doing it, because of the white screen in UV editor.
I already made sure that maya was not using my integrated graphics card; maya is using my high-performance NVIDIA processor.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

You might be in luck! I literally just had a similar thread no more than 5 minutes ago that we solved Smiley Tongue

Here's the link to that thread!

The solution in that thread was to change the rendering engine from OpenGL to DirectX 11!

To do this follow these steps:

    1.) Go to Windows-Settings->Preferences

step_01.png

    2.) Under the Display tab go to Viewport 2.0 and change the Rendering Engine to Direct X 11

I hope this helps solve your issue, but let me know if it still occurs and I'd be happy to help further!
