Maya 2017 crashes everytime I open render settings for arnold

Arnold was working just fine before but since few days whenever I try to open render settings maya crashes without any warning. If I unload arnold from settings and preferences render settings opens just fine. please help

Hi @Anonymous  and welcome to the community!

Is you Maya 2017 up to date? A quick test you can try is deleting your settings/preferences and then re enable the Arnold plugins.

Also, you may want to check and make sure that the Arnold version you are using is the most recent version.

Finally, what GPU are you using and does the driver version match our certified hardware list?

What about your GPU? Is the driver version the same as our certified hardware list?

Also, when you get the crash does it show an error report for you to fill out and submit to Autodesk?

If so, can you please submit it and let me know what the CER report number is?
