Maya 2017.4 Linux plugins not appearing

Hello everyone,

I'm running Maya 2017 update 4 on Linux CentOS 7.

The problem is, everytime I run Maya I have to load arnold and redshift, even if they are auto-loaded !! And sometimes when I render using them, they get unloaded.

Maya is not crashing, they just disappear.

I hope there's a solution, thanks in advance.

Hi @3bdullah.battat and welcome to the community!

We officially support version 7.2 for Linux so you may need to update your OS in order for this issue to go away.

Another option you may want to try is uninstalling Arnold completely, deleting your settings/preferences, then reinstall Arnold and see if the issue still occurs.

Please let me know if anything changes!
