Malicious Script Deletes File

I am aware of the malicious script that is circulating around. I am facing a different issue, where I believe some of the files I received from our outsource vendors probably had their files infected. Now any file I work on in my copy of Maya, probably infects my working file. The issue now I am seeing is when I try to open or have Maya scanner scan the file, the file gets deleted. Like completely deleted. I had to use Data Recovery software to recover my work. Now I am in the process of reinstalling my workstation with fresh copy of Windows 10 and Maya 2022. I am using Maya 2020 currently where this problem is persistent.

Any idea how I can clean my files or my system without formatting everything? =(

When I try to open the suspected infected file in Maya 2022 (fresh copy on a fresh system), it opens with a blank scene with nothing in it and the script editor spits out Error line() Error reading file.

Also the suspected maya file, if I try to copy and paste them else where they get deleted with a prompt saying "You dont have permission, with options to Continue, Skip or Cancel" If I click continue, it exits and the file disappears. If I click Skip, it shows its copying but really does not copy to the destination. I recovered it using Data Recovery, now not sure if the recovered file is even intact. Now I am scared to touch any maya files, out of fear that they may be infected or will get infect I open them. Anyone else have any idea how to clean them? Loading them into 2022 didnt help as mentioned at the beginning of this comment.
