Just bought a new computer.... help

I just bought an Asus 2-in-1 with these specs:

intel core 8th gen i7 

16 GB RAM

512GB SSD Storage

NVIDIA GeForce MX150

I will be running the latest Maya 2018.5 on this and was wondering if I will have a problem?

I had a laptop recently with the Intel UDH 620 which absolutely did not run my files. Thank would get the file open to the point where all my referenced files showed up but Maya froze after my outliner loaded and it never loaded my viewport.

Essentially what I’m getting at is will I be able to run Maya successfully with this graphics card as I know it’s on the lower end of the NVIDIA market which is why I ask.

Hi!

Despite it being at the lower end it should technically support everything needed to run Maya.

But keep in mind that this card is a "gamer" card (and even a laptop card), so you will not gain much performance and there still can be problems based on drivers.
