Issue with Maya 2019

I have done a brand new clean install of Maya 2019 on my Surface book 2 and when I start maya for the first time I get the following issue in my screen. (See photo). I can only get past this black squares when I click and drag over top of those black boxes, but as soon as I rotate the view or do anything the black boxes come back... Has anyone encountered this before and know of a fix?

This is most likely a GPU issue. What GPU are you using and is the driver version the same as our certified hardware list?

You can find our certified hardware list here!

A quick test you can try as well is deleting your settings/preferences.

Hi, Maya team I have done an update recently for Maya 2019.3.1 I have the student version don't but I'm facing an issue where when I update Maya for the new version it shows a black screen and here a picture of the issue.
