Is Arnold batch rendering available with Maya 2025 Indie license

Hi,

I just purchased Maya 2025 Indie.  It seems like a "new" feature that Arnold is now included with Maya 2025 (Indie), whereas before it was a separate license, is that correct?   Before 2025, it used to be that you could render using Arnold, but not in batch mode, which would add a watermark.  So is batch rendering using Arnold now part of Maya 2025 (Indie)?

I'm having trouble rendering in batch mode w/ Arnold, though in the viewport Arnold rendering works.

I found the mayaRenderLog.txt file and it seems to be complaining about Arnold licensing.

I'm confused. Do we get Arnold or not?  Thank you.

No. there is no batch in Maya at all. Even if you have the non Indie version.

But you can use the sequence Render if you need to render an animation.

@Christoph_Schaedl already answered here, and I answered this over in the duplicate post about this.

Maya does not include an Arnold license. You need to buy an Arnold license if you want to batch render.

What Maya does do is remove the watermark when you render in the interface (IPR, Render Current Frame, Render Sequence).

Thank you guys for the answers, and my apologies for the duplicate post. I'm new to these forums, I didn't expect such speedy replies, much less from company folks directly!  It's good to know you guys are listening!
