Interactive xgen bug

I brush the brush for half a day with a pen, and then I accidentally pressed Ctel + X. The hair is gone, and then I press Ctrl + Z again. Without any reaction, the hair will not come back.

It's unfortunate that it didn't work in your case, because it IS undoable:

Try hitting cntrl + z twice or more.

No, not my reason. I press Ctrl + X in the case of choosing the base density. Important point is the node that chooses the base density.

You try, there will be revoked hair disappeared.

I tried again, even if the other nodes were selected, not just the base density of the nodes. Press Ctrl + Z will let the hair disappear. If not saved, can only be re-produced

Hi!

It is recommended to save a scene before using XGen (, or do you mean if you don't have a backup your work is lost?)

Edit:

Undo works here (Maya 2017 update3).

Edit2:

For Interactive Grooming undo doesn't seem to work correct!?

You're right, deleting the base node does not get undone correctly. I've logged the bug.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Cheers

This is still a bug in 2024 it is unbelievable that that hasn't been fixed.

I don't know how many countless hours have been lost for the users due to this bug in those 7 years.

Please fix it, thanks.
