Import of assembly in .jt format into Maya

Hi 🙂

I am trying to import an assembly file (.jt format) into Maya.. The first problem I get is that the name of the assembly changes when I import it. The original name is 50-00001, but after I import it it is named -00001... Is this because Maya does not allow a number to be the first character in a name?

My second problem is that the navigation structure of the imported assembly changes.. All the parts just gets named PolySurface1, Polysurface2 etc... Does anyone know why all the names of parts on "level 2" of my assembly are replaced with these?

Thanks heaps!! 🙂
