Hello everytime I try to open hypershade I have to wait around 10 minutes when my model file is open. When my own file is closed then it opens immediately.
I don't have a lot of materials nor materials with textures.
It is very annoying because I sometimes accidentally close this window and have to wait 10 minutes again.
I have the latest version of maya 2018, but it also occurred before I installed the update.

Hi @Anonymous
So this is only happening with one specific scene file?
When you get a chance, can you please zip and attach the scene file here or via dropbox/google drive or another file sharing program so I can take a look at it? If the file is confidential or under NDA please send it to me in a private message instead of posting it here.

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for sending me the scene file!
I had the same issues opening the Hypershade and I believe it is due to the complexity of your scene. You have about a million polys in the scene and a dozen+ shaders which is probably what is causing Maya to buckle and load slowly.
I would recommend optimizing your scene a bit as well as removing anything unnecessary from the scene/Outliner.
