How to Set Default Set

Hello, plese need some help, where I can specify in which set newly created object are added?

I guess after using custom scripts all my new objects are added to "modelPanel4ViewSelectedSet" which I'm unable to delete, even after break all connection to this set in Windows->Relationship Editor -> Sets and Deleting All History?

How to set "defaultObjectSet" as default to which new objects are added?

Does this happen in a new scene as well?

If so its possible something corrupted your settings so you may want to try deleting your settings/preferences.

Hi!

The "modelPanel4ViewSelectedSet" is an internal Maya set and can not (should not) simply be deleted.

It's the same for the default...Sets.

However i can't say why new polygon objects will not be added to the defaultObjectSet in the same way as new lights are added to defaultLightSet.

Thanks for the reply, Sean, I already figured out, just reopened my scene 🙂 and this set already gone. I also run option to "Remove Empty Sets" in Optimize Scene Size Options before reopening.
