How to restore corrupt Maya file in text editor

Hello

I was working on a scene and made a lot of progress but when I opened the file, most of the objects have just disappeared including materials.

When I went into notepad++ I deleted things at random (because I don't know what I'm looking for) and found that some of the meshes started reappearing. so is there something I should be looking for? maybe deleting some history?

I only have 1 saved file, no backups.

Have you heard about the Infinite Monkey Theorem? I believe, you can fix your file within Maya.

And,  you can post it here.

The original file I accidentally saved over it after I deleted a lot of code but in this version, I didn't delete any code I just started rebuilding the model from what I had.

What should I look for?

All what I did, was dragging your file into Maya.

You're looking for any extra pieces that aren't already visible for example I had hard surface pieces on the front of the belt and the floating thing in the back had much more detail.

When I looked In the node editor I saw some transform nodes for the missing pieces but if you don't see anything it's ok I'll just continue to rebuild it.

There are no extra transforms, the file reads without errors. There are non-manifold geometry components, which might cause some problems. The only mesh that had no actual geometry in it was polySurface19.

This rather seems to be a model from/for V4 game, isn't it? https://www.deviantart.com/vlthar/art/Farbinea-864131997

yup, it is from V4. I'm using the low poly as a base the build a cinematic model.
