How to change or link the middle mouse button to my fourth mouse button?

Hello,

I would like to switch or link my middle mouse button(MMD) to my fourth mouse button(FMD). The MMD seems to not fit me and i have been having trouble finding a way to switch the MMD to my FMD. I have searched in the hotkey editor but it only shows hotkeys for the key board. Is there any way to switch or link the MMD to a new button on the mouse?

No, not in Maya.

You can only try to switch button assignments in the driver for your input device.

Ok, thank's for the quick reply.

I,m new to Maya and was used to blender where I changed the MMD to FMD so I didn't like it being MMD.

I wonder why they wont add a hotkey editor for the mouse, i'm sure there's other people wanting to change the keys for them.
