Help My computer will not Render an image on Maya

Hello, I've been using Maya for a long time and my computer is usually pretty good about rending images through Maya but a month ago I decided to render a single frame to use at the end of my film. The usual window showed up, the image is fully blue and the cursor is showing that it's think but that's as far as it goes. After Five hours for a single frame an error comes up. Sadly I don't remember what it said but I'll try it again after work to see if the error comes up again.

It's such a pain and I'm not sure what happened, maybe it's the program or my computer?

Does this happen in a fresh new scene or is it on a specific Maya scene?

If its on a specific Maya scene, when you get a chance, can you please zip and attach the scene file here or via dropbox/google drive or another file sharing program so I can take a look at it?
