Hello everyone!
I am working on a project with an animated dog and I have trouble with it's fur (it's also the first time that I'm grooming fur in Maya). I am using xGen interactive groom in Maya 2018 and I render with Arnold 5.1.01.
Here the problem : each frame, the hair moves and it create a flickering effect in the end (I did verify, it's not an illusion created by Arnold like in this problem : https://answers.arnoldrenderer.com/questions/2377/mtoa-xgen-flickering-lights.html?page=2&pageSize=1...). I've checked all the collision/dynamic/turbulence parameters but none of them seems to work and, in the end, I don't even know where my problem come from !
Here, the video of this dog with it's hair problem : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjIklmhtX_8&feature=youtu.be
If anyone have even a hint of solution, I will gladly accept it !
I don't really know what kind of information is needed so if you want more information about my scene, feel free to ask !
I have this **** issue and no one answer to it !
I think Maya is dying !
