Grid Refuses to Show Itself

I have no idea how I managed to eliminate the standard grid from Maya, and I have no idea how to bring it back. The grid button is enabled and I'm not hiding any of the scene, yet for some reason, the grid's playing hide-and-seek. Is there something I'm overlooking?

Hi,

Right click on the grid icon for the view and select grid options.

Check and ensure you have not turned off anything in this dialog box.
