Hi

I see you can choose between maya binary and maya ASCII file format when saving.

Which one is preferred or which format has advantages over the other one?

I now use binary but not sure if this is the right choice...

A .ma file can be edited in a text program like word pad if anything goes wrong with the file. .mb can’t. You can save in mb after the model is completed if you prefer.
