I'm getting this error message with a freshly installed maya 2018.4 and fresh preferences.. It seems to also pop up when making an AOV. I'm on a 10core iMac Pro and didn't have this message in the same scene yesterday when I was still in Maya 2018.3

Hi @siebejanssen

What version of Mac OS are you on?

Also, a quick fix you could try would be to uninstall Update 4 then reinstall it.

Please let me know if anything changes!

we have the main projectsdirectory on the dropbox but render to a local drive, could it have something to do with that?

Hi @siebejanssen

That might be it. If you move the project directory to your local set up does anything change?

Hi, I didn’t see the error today, I think it might has something to do with the image directory that is set. We have a shared projectfolder but render locally. I guess the imagepath is stored in the workfile doc in the shared project folder, which is causing issues..

Hi @siebejanssen

That does sound like it may be the cause.

Is there anyway you can change that set up to test again so we can confirm thats the issue?
