macOS High Sierra, Maya 2018
I set up a dual screen with my Mac to use Maya with. Maya is currently on my laptop, but when I try to bring up the marking menu with the spacebar, my monitor screen activates. I drag Maya to my monitor & the marking menu appears, hence why the monitor activated.
I want my laptop to show the marking menus when I hit spacebar, or at least, I want the marking menus to appear wherever the mouse is when I hit spacebar. When I unplug the cable, the spacebar and marking menu works fine on my laptop.
EDIT: When Maya and cursor is on my laptop, spacebar brings marking menu to 2nd screen. If Maya is on laptop and cursor is on 2nd screen, spacebar brings marking menu to laptop screen. If Maya and cursor is on 2nd screen, marking menu works fine. WEIRD.

Hi @Anonymous
There have been some issues like this with Macs and dual screen.
Off the bat, we don't officially support High Sierra with Maya 2018 which may be why this issue is appearing.
You can find our certified system requirements here!
Is there anything else not working or is it only the marking menu set up?
Also, is there any chance you can rollback your OS to 10.12 to see if this still occurs?
All the best,
