Custom marking menu for tools

Hi All,

So, it's now been around 6 weeks that I've been using Maya heavily after being a long term Max user.

I love marking menus, they are amazing and work very well.

Once issue I've found is with max using tools you got a ui popup for the options of various tools, for instance, the insert edge loop tool. I was looking for a way after finding the Ctrl, Shidt and right click marking menu to edit it so it has a reset tool in it and thus having this for so many other tools.

Is this possible and has anyone done it?

I wanna make sure I'm understanding this right. You're looking for a way to have the Reset Tool function in the markin menu?

I don't believe there is a way to make them reset. However if you open the option box for a tool and go to Edit at the top left you can then hit reset settings.

It's an extra two clicks but I believe it is the easiest way to achieve this functionality without writing a custom script/tool etc.

Yes, thats exactly it.

I've seen that a few of the tools already have that like the multi-cut tool. Guess it will have to be a no.

it's a shame that the modeling toolkit isn't customisable or that would be perfect.
