Getting black lines in my modeling window

Hi,

I tried to open maya 2018 with one of my files that i made before i reformated my computer today.

Then a line came up in top and right side, inside the modeling window. It now open this way all the time.

Does anyone know how i can remove this 

without reinstalling maya?

I allso have this problem, when i try to smooth "3" maya freezes, any reason for this?

Maby a quick fix?

It seems like all the requirement are up to date with my computer.

Hi!

 I can't see any information related to graphic card or driver.

If you only use the embedded GPU of your CPU, then your system is not capable of running Maya properly.

- Try different Viewport modes / Render engine settings like "DirectX".
