Compatibilidades varias versiones en un mismo ordenador

Good afternoon, 

I would like to know if is possible to install different versions of Autodesk Maya on the same laptop. 

I need to work on Autodesk Maya 2016 and Autodesk Maya 2017 on my academic project.

Hi!

Maya scenes are not backwards compatible (you can't use newer features in older versions),

however loading simpler scenes like geometry should not be a problem, especially if exported as OBJ or FBX.

Keep i mind that using different Maya version during a project is not recommended.
