When I make a change in the graph editor, nothing changes in my scene for some reason. Never happened to me before. I am using Maya 2018 Student Version, can someone help me please? Thanks!

I can't upload the scene, because it is job related and I am not allowed to.
I did my blocking and when I clicked spline and I had to fix some things and I use the graph editor to fix the curves, but now nothing in the scene changes when I do something in the graph editor. In other files with different scenes and rigs it works fine. What could cause this?

I am a student, who is applying for a job and the file is a test, so I am not allowed to share it. That is why I am using student version and that is why it is job related. Thanks anyway : )
