Cannot launch Maya 2017, 2018, Unhandled Exception

I've been unable to launch Maya 2017 (and now 2018) since upgrading my GPU. Both windows and my graphics drivers are all up to date, but Maya still won't open after multiple re-installations. I've included a screenshot of maya's output window after the program says it is being forced to close.

My specs are:

Windows 10 Professional 64-bit

i5-6600k running at 4.4Ghz stable

ASRock Z170 Pro4 Motherboard

16gb DDR4 Memory

GTX 1060 6gb, running Nvidia's 391.35 driver

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

The official supported driver for your 1060 is version 388.43 so it's possible that changing to that driver may help.

When you get a chance, please uninstall your current GPU driver and install version 388.43 which can be found here!

If that doesn't work, the Output Log is pointing to a handful of dll issues so you may want to perform a clean uninstall/reinstall of Maya.

Please let me know if this helps or if you need any more assistance!

Thank you so much for the help! I ended up reinstalling windows and going through that whole process, but maya is now working with the current nvidia drivers.
