please help me!!
Hi @Anonymous sorry you're having this issue! First I would recommend making sure all your drivers are up to date and if they are then you can try a clean uninstall and reinstall of Maya 2017. If a clean uninstall and reinstall doesn't work this could also be an issue with your Maya profile that doesnt get uninstalled so you can follow these steps!

I got the exact same problem and I followed your instructions to try to solve the problem, but still it changes nothing. The program pops up for a second and disappears. Before that I tried reinstall maya and even reinstall my system. None can help. I hope you can provide me a solution soon. Thanks.
Weird. Could you try running your PC in safe mode and see if Maya can launch that way? Also be sure to have task manage open and be a little patient because Maya does take some time to launch and be up and running.
