This is great news, and I am so glad because getting my NCARB cert has proven to be very difficult and I am thinking about switching fields; magic, naturally, was my first choice!

So far the only person to receive this in our office was our office manager. I'm sure some others are going to be disappointed they got left out. On the bright side, this is the most entertaining phishing email scare anyone has handed me all year.

Please be aware that a huge segment of Autodesk customer base received yet another email regarding acceptance at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  Is this something Autodesk plans to correct and prevent going forward as our customers have reached out to us with concern/lack of amusement?

And yes; my first and last name is ironically connected by coincidence to the Harry Potter brand 🙂

No sooner than I told my coworker there was going to be that 1% that did not find it as funny as we did.

Again,   Oh Boooo to them.

Got mine today, as well. Looks totally phishy. There is also a hidden, non-existent img in it which makes it even more suspect... 🤔

Hi!

When programming or creating templates sometimes this sort of content is added for several reasons:

- good mood

- in case something unintended or accidental happens, no confidential content is provided and whatever happens it can't be mistaken for an intended action or content.

I can't say for sure, but this looks like a template that was sent out accidentally (especially as this was confirmed as an error by Autodesk at twitter).

It's recommended to delete such suspicious emails without viewing or clicking on any links, but this does not look like a phishing email.

So you're telling me that I didn't get accepted to Hogwarts...?

That's a good explanation.  Maybe in the future they could just create a template with the words test-please disregard...just a thought.
