We're investigating this but I believe it was a test email sent to a Maya subscriber list. For now you can disregard it but I will follow up here once I have more information on it.

I believe it was a mistake internally. The email was meant to be a test mailing list internally but somehow had external customers like yourself on the mailing list.
You can simply disregard the email and this shouldn't happen again in the future.

I got mine today too! Too bad it arrived after the deadline to apply, maybe I could get in next year?
This happened to me this morning. Apparently someone is still using that email to test their lists at autodesk@autodeskcommunications.com. It's a good laugh to start a Monday though, so thanks for that.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I'd like to request an extension on the Owl deadline by 30 days, please. 🙂 LOL
