It keeps making some of my material map disappear when it worked perfectly in Maya 2020 but not in Maya 2023

Error: indexed user-data in companion array has out-of-bounds indices in map1idxs! (should be less than 0) -- disabling user-data 'map1

Hi

What versions of Maya and MtoA are you using? What operating system?

Tip: the header of an Arnold log has all those details

What is map1 ? Can you simplify the scene down to just the object that has map1 and upload it?

Hi all,

@Pi-errs is the error you are encountering the same exact error? Can you copy and paste the exact error being thrown?

From the context of previous posts and some searching, this Arnold error is most likely due to a tool that has been changed within Arnold from the previous version your file was saved in, potentially your UV's are affected, or the root of the issue. Try re-packing your UV's, posting some screenshots with additional details, or opening a support ticket here so someone from the support team can help ya!

Warm regards,

Hi guys,

To anyone who's facing this issue. "I" (it was my prof. actually who solved it for me)... Simply toggle on/off COLOR TEMPERATURE on your HDRI.

That fixed it for me.
