aistandardvolume when set to blackbody emission does not work

I was trying to create a smoke and fire simulation with bifrost aero and when aistandardvolume emission was set to black body this is what arnold renders. its a weird ring of light around the perimeter of the simulation, i tried messing with various settings but i have gotten nowhere.

Is there a light in your scene?

 

Also, if you change the emission settings around does that affect it at all?

This looks like clipping (values too high at center).

hello, sorry for late reply, yes i am still having the issue i have messed with the settings for emission and when I clear the channel parameter it kinda fixes it but it has no emission, just smoke. I have a screenshot of the attributes before touching anything except for the blackbody selection

Hi!

 

Usually Maya attributes operate in the range from "0" to "1".

The values used and generated (and emitted by the bifrost emitter if using default values) are way to high here.

So use an other mode or channel, or simply reduce attribute "Temperature" which acts as multiplier (try "0.001").
