Xgen not importing

When i try importing my xgen file into a new scene I get the error that it failed to import, shown in the picture attach to this message. Can anyone please help me with this?xgen error.png

There's a couple of things to mention here, first, it appears that the geo you are importing onto is in a namespace, so you need to enter the same namespace in the appropriate feild on the import options..

Second, the second dialogue is telling you that the collection exists on disc and is asking if you want to overwrite it (it won't actually overwrite it unless you make changes to the collection) or to version up the collection name.

 

If you import to the new namespace, you shouldn't get that warning as the naming will be different. Be sure to check your xgen file path setting to point to the correct location though..
