Hi,
As the title say, I have a problem with collision. I make the base of the hair with Pencil Curve Tool, then I clicked Make Selected Curves Dynamic for the hair. I try make the model a collider with Make Collide in nParticles, Make Collide in Fluids, Create Passive Collider with nCloth but nothing it seem working. Even the model have the nRigid that appears when it suppose to be a collider.
How can I fix it? What is the cause of it?
Thanks.
Hi,
I was able to get my Nucleus passive collision object to collide with my nHair object in Maya 2017 and Maya 2016 using the steps you provided.
A couple of suggestions: Use nCloth > Create Passive Collider to create the collision object from you mesh.

Also, make sure that the solver your nHair is using is also selected as the solver for your passive collision object. To check this, select the collision object, then select Fields/Solvers > Assign Solver > nucleus1(or the whatever solver the nHair object is using).

Maybe your passive collision object and nHair are colliding, but it is just difficult to see. If this is the case, you can increases the collision thickness around the passive collision. In the nRigidShape attributes, set Solver Display to Collision Thickness and increase the Thickness to a value between 0.2 and 0.4.

I've also attached my file from Maya 2016.
Thanks, the first option works for me.
I have a question, there is a way to "unlink" the hair with the bottom of the curves I made for the style? There is two images with a red circle, I wanted to "unlink" it so the simulation of the tip can move freely but I don't want to affect the top of the curve.
