nCloth not simulating Maya 2023

Hello and thank you in advance.

I am unable to get the object to move/simulate/animate when using ncloth.

OSX 12.4

version:Maya 2023.1 Update - Mac

Update (2517.3MB). Released Jun 15, 2022

Error messages: none

Process:

new scene >create plane > Raise and expand plane to be higher and larger > select plane > Create nCloth.

nClothShape enabled

nucleus enabled

playback 24 frames  set to play all

Frames set  0-200

Press play nothing happens.   I went to YouTube to watch ncloth tutorials on inflating pillows (albeit old Maya versions)  drapes and table cloths followed them exactly. nothing simulates or moves.

increased frames. nothing moves.

I'm pretty sure is because you have your playback set up as "realtime" and when you are doing dynamics it should be 
"play every frame max real-time" or free

Thank you for your response, it is greatly appreciated!    

I went back in with a new scene and a basic plane changed the playback settings and the object still does not move.

Hopes to find a resolution soon! 🙂

Is working fine here.  Maybe delete your prefs
